Waldstille received production funding

A commission of VPRO and NTR, the Netherlands Filmfund and the Dutch Cultural Media Fund have selected Waldstille (director & screenplay Martijn Maria Smits) for production support in the Oversteek VII program. Waldstille is set to start filming in the winter of 2014. The film is about Ben, who after serving prison for drunk-driving and causing the death of his girlfriend, returns home and is confronted by his embittered parents in law who are taking care of his little son.

Dutch premiere of Wander to Wonder at IFFR

Nina Gantz’s animation Wander to Wonder will premiere at IFFR on 20 January after a busy festival tour since Venice’s Orrizonti last year. W2W was screened at (a.o.)
