Baby wins Rising Star Award @ Semaine de la Critique Cannes

In the presence of cast and crew, our Brazilian co-production Baby had an emotional premiere during the 63rd Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. Lead actors João Pedro Mariano and Ricardo Teodoro as well as director Marcelo Caetano, experienced an intense week that culminated with the Rising Star Award for Ricardo Teodoro. Baby is a co-production between CupFilmes (BR), Plateau Produçoes (BR), Desbun Filmes (BR), Still Moving (FR), Kaap Holland Studios (NL), and Circe Films. The film was supported by the Hubert Bals Fund/Dutch Film Fund and will be released by Gusto Entertainment next year. M-Appeal handles world sales.
