Anna has a calm and stable relationship with her husband Sebastiaan. One day, when Anna is on a business trip, a female colleague commits suicide. Even though Anna wasn’t close with the woman, the incident has a big impact on her. No one seems to know why she killed herself. At home, Anna doesn’t tell anyone about the woman. Instead she begins to observe her husband and her family and asks herself what she means to them.
