Two important US awards for Wander to Wonder

Wander to Wonder has won the Grand Jury Award for Shorts at Animation is Film in Los Angeles. The festival presents a highly selective, annual showcase of the best new works of animation from around the world. The film also won a Silver Hugo at Chicago IFF.

Below is the Chicago jury report:

This animated film is an original take on the idea of deconstructing children’s television. It exhibits exceptional technical stop-motion craft, impressive world-building, and skillful sound design. Along with its breathtaking visuals, Wander to Wonder provides an engaging and thought-provoking story. […] It asks questions surrounding what becomes of a creation after its maker moves on, what is the life and legacy of an artwork, and how collaboration changes and challenges (even magical, miniature) people.
