It’s All So Quiet receives funding from the Dutch Film Fund

The feature film It’s All So Quiet by director Nanouk Leopold is selected for funding by the Dutch Film Fund. Leopold wrote the script based on the successful and acclaimed novel by Gerbrand Bakker. It’s All So Quiet is about the troublesome relationship between an aging, isolated farmer and his sick father.

The book is translated in many languages and has won the IMPAC Literary Award 2010 and several other awards. The shooting will take place next winter in the Netherlands. Circe Films will collaborate with co-production partners Isabella Films (NL) and COIN Film (GER). Belgium’s Prime Time and Dutch broadcaster VPRO are also attached to the project.
